EXMAR Marine, with headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium, provides worldwide gas shipping and marine operations services to the petroleum and shipping industry.

EXMAR Shipping USA is the American branch of EXMAR (Euronext: EXM), a descendant of the Compagnie Maritime Belge (Euronext: CM B) maritime group founded in 1895 in Antwerp. EXMAR has been involved in the transportation of LNG since 1978 and LPG since 1981. EXMAR's technical team, the genesis of which was EXMAR's affiliated shipyard Boelwerf in Tense, Belgium, has designed, construction managed, and provided technical expertise to CMB and EXMAR's many innovative vessel design and newbuilding projects.

With a fleet of 59 gas carriers (LPG/NH3/LNG) under commercial management, EXMAR is a world leader in the transportation of LPG, NH3 and Petrochemicals with significant presence in the "Midsize" (22,000 to 44,000 cbm) segment of the LPG carrier market. EXMAR's fleet of LPG vessels spans the spectrum of vessel sizes from 3,500 cbm pressurized vessels to 86,000 cbm fully refrigerated vessels (VLSGC).

EXMAR's long tradition of introducing leading-edge vessels continues with the EXMAR Excelsior, a liquified natural gas regasification vessel (LNGRV) constructed at DSME (Daewoo) in Korea. The Excellence, under EXMAR construction and newbuilding supervision and Tecto ship management is a 138,000 cbm LNG Regasification Vessel delivered in 2005. The DSME Hull 2237, also a 138,000 cbm LNG Regasification Vessel, went into operations in 2007.
