1895:
EXMAR maritime group established headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium
beginning a 114 year history of design, construction, and operation of state of the
art ocean-going vessels, including transport ships and
luxury liners.
1981: EXMAR commences LPG activities with the delivery of the LPGC
Coral Temse (7,300 cbm).
1983: EXMAR specializes in ownership and operation of MidSize (22,000
to 44,000 cbm) vessels.
1986: EXMAR establishes MidSize Fleet operation with other owners.
1990: EXMAR expands activities to pressurized tonnage and begins operation
based in Hong Kong.
1992: EXMAR merges with CMB and group activities expanded to LNG,
containers, tankers, bulk carriers, port operations and related
services.
1997: EXMAR expands activities to include offshore drilling and
production vessels and beings operations based in Houston, Texas.
2003: EXMAR demerges from CMB and is listed
on EURONEXT: EXM
2007: EXMAR
is a diversified
shipping group with a substantial fleet serving the international oil and gas
industry with state-of-the-art LPG and LNG transport, storage, and
other purpose vessels, and innovative LNG and LPG re-gasification and
transfer systems.
2009: EXMAR introduces the
OPTI-EX Production Semi-Submersible and launches additional LNG and
LPG fleet.
